Tanya brings a Holistic approach to Health & Fitness and stresses the importance of a good program, healthy food choices, proper hydration & plenty of rest. Programs are periodized to facilitate realizing goals at a safe and productive pace. Her passion for health and fitness is infectious! Tanya encourages her clients to push themselves to previously unknown limits with the intention of doing so in a fun, motivating, safe & supportive environment.
Tanya's ambition is to empower people by educating them about their new lifestyle. If she doesn't have the answer to a question, she will refer you to a professional in the appropriate industry who does. You do not need to be a member of a gym to receive personal training from Force of Nature.
With knowledge and enthusiasm, Tanya takes an active role in helping clients attain their goals and instructs them how to maintain those results once they have been achieved.
During a training campaign, Force of Nature tracks progress & assesses current fitness levels using a variety of methods, including (but not limited to):
- Body Fat Testing
- Measuring Lean Muscle Mass & Hydration levels
- Body Mass Index
- Flexibility, Strength and Endurance Testing
Who does Tanya train?
Tanya primarily trains women*, but accepts couples on an individual basis.
Personal Training Certifications/Qualifications
Tanya Hokanson is a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer accredited by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and has completed and received certification for the following BCRPA-approved courses: Fitness Theory & Exercise Physiology, Strength & Weight Training and Personal Training. She is a Lifestyle Fitness Coach through DSW and has FIRST AID, CPR & AED qualifications.
